+1 Price is the cause of comparisons for sure. I have an 84 standard 1200 which I've found to be a very enjoyable ride. The gadgets you seem attracted to are just extra bells and whistles in my book and can be added in more modern versions with GPS and such.

Well guys I believe I found a bike! Its not a 86 SEi but its just as rare and much closer to me as well. Its a 85 limited edition. With 25k original miles. Now the guy bought it from the original owner in 2012 and the bike has been in storage since 2002 with the exception of starting it and letting it run once a week. He's rode it 2500+ miles since then and replaced both tires and fork seals. It is missing the plastic behind the front fender. Everything works great. I have some pics of it. Most definately want some opinions. He's asking $2500, but I'm gonna trade my 1995 z71 for it.

Absolutely! I'd love to go ride with you guys soon! Now he said it comes with the matching helmets with it too. But this bike didn't recieve a cab radio. Are they hard to install?
 
hey new member from Kentucky, saw you might have an interest in CB, yours doesn't have one, I'm gonna be pulling the radio out of my 84 Interstate this month, you interested? Need to check it to see if it works, never turned it on ..... day and age of Iphone! .... Crowe .... :Egyptian:
