Hi, I'm Scott and I just bought a 83 Interstate this past weekend and looking forward to getting to know my bike since this is the first Goldwing I have owned. I have already seen things here that interest me such as the single carb manifold.

Welcome aboard...My first GL too, boy I learned allot, definetely a different kinda bike if your used to air cooled. Carbs were the most fussy thing. You really have to be clean and exact but once they are right they are wonderful and give no troubles..If you do rebuild them get everything, I tried the half ars route and took 2X to get them right.
Good luck with yours.

Thank you all,
you make a newbe feel welcome. i've been riding since the late sixty's, and always thought dresser's were old men bikes, hmm I guess now that I am one,
I think of all them years of bugs in my teeth. With age does come wisdom.

Again thanks Scott
