Tach cable

am going to replace my old tach cable and was wondering if there is a set screw of some type that holds it in the motor I ran my finger around the housing where the old one is and could not feel any, or does this one just get pressed in there ??

The inner of the 2 bolts that secure the fuel pump mount/tach drive to the head needs to be removed, the tach cable installed, and the bolt replaced. It catches the groove in the end of the cable housing.
