Definitely not in Japan.
There are a lot of small CC bikes from all of the majors in South America. For example, when I was in Guatemala back in 2007, I could not believe how many Suzuki GN series bikes I saw for sale brand new. In '81 I had a GN 400. Down there, I saw GN 125's everywhere. To my knowledge, Suzuki did not sell GN 125's in the states but they are a hot item down.

Well I have read 'GL' means Grand Luxe
Just remember, while all Goldwings are GL's, not all GL's are goldwings. I know, not a US bike, but this forum does not stop at the borders. ;)

looks more like Honda a cb 100 and cb 125 to me from the early to mid 70's
