Is there a trick to get the thermostat to stay where it belongs in the housing so I can get the housing cover back on? Driving me nuts....

If it's an old O ring it could be flat, or maybe the O ring got dislodged from the groove when putting it on. Same trick with grease to hold it in place.

As far as burping goes, I run it till its hot, let it cool and fill, then repeat as necessary, does that sound right?

The old girl is running great, only one issue.... I looked today and there are no oil spots on the ground.... Something is wrong, isn't a wing supposed to mark it's territory??? :smilie_happy:
