It's a little different riding with a trailer behind... I like to roam around in the lane, but I have to remember that I have a wider rear end now when that thing is back there.

It looks good Brian :good:

It's multi-functional too. Flat bed for hauling totes, cargo bag for all of my camping gear, or I can convert it to a boat trailer for hauling my canoe or the kayak I haven't bought yet. :smilie_happy:

Made sure that the Metzler was finally worn out
What if looked like new when it was fitted at the end of February
I knew the tire was worn out but today's ride confirmed it. Bike was all squirmy after riding and back tire was down to 12 psi. Found a small puncture ( like a nail). Filled tire to 44 psi and by the time I had filled with gas it dropped down to 28psi. Filled up to 45psi and a quick ride home and made it safely. I normally buy new tires once I start getting punctures even when there is tread left.

Tony, my Shinko is almost looking like your Metzler, but it still has one trip left in it.

How many miles on it Brian and is it a 230?

I have the 230's on front and rear. Front has 9500 miles and the rear has 5500 miles. This next trip should round things out at around 11,000 front and 7,000 rear when it will be time to replace them both. Not bad for a pair of tires that cost me $140.00.

The rear Shinko 230 is costing me $150 aud fitted and balanced ( I bring in the wheel) and I have a choice of 2 alloy right angle valve stems to use. One of the reasons I waited so long to change the rear ( eBay from China). I was happy with my 6000 miles on the rear Shinko 230 and the front still has plenty of tread but I will change it soon as well. Great mileage and value out of your Shinkos Brian :good:
End of the Road!!!

I actually got Janet on the back of the bike today  All it took was for the Moon to be in the Seventh House and Jupiter aligned with Mars, oh yeah and she hadn't done anything with her hair yet...and it wasn't too hot or too cold or too windy and she was starving because we had been fasting since last night for some insurance stuff and she wanted to go out to breakfast.

It was a nice ride to the casino, I've always liked the way Wings handle with two up better regardless of size 1000, 1100, 1500. Oh yeah, Janet hit four 2's for $40, paid for everything(Breakfast and our $20 spent gambling). :Egyptian:

the fuse for the ring of fire and front fender trim lights kept blowing, I noticed that whom ever installed them just used electrical tape where the wires connect. I thought the wires might be corroded so I cut about 3/4 of an inch of wireing, reconnected everything, soldered it all back together and put some of that shrink tubing stuff on it. hope that solves the problem
