If it is any consolation, I think you are doing it an easier way by removing the swing-arm. Trying to install those three bolts that hold the ignition housing cover on once the motor and swing arm are installed (for me) make that cir-clip look like a walk in the park.

Couldn't get my fat fingers in to get the bolts out without removing the swing arm. Now I just have to remember how it all goes back together. Working on Navy aircraft was so much easier than trying to get this bike back in running shape, but I should be there soon! :beg:

the PGR do a great job. We had a memorial servisc at our church for one of our heros and your group showed up :Egyptian: That other group threatende but diden't show. Keep up the good work. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:
For someone who lives across the water the PGR are appreciated over here too. Far too many of our young men give their lives to defend their country, I am not a religious man, I used to be but not any more, but these young men and women give their lives and put their bodies in danger so that other scum can protest. That other group should be surrounded by PGR and supporting people and make it clear that they are not wanted in the USA. Stay strong from an older vet from a different time. :thanks:

I got the block all cleaned up and ready for the rebuilt head. Got the head back on & just snugged-up. The carb rack is giving me fits....I finally got the proper o-ring for the accelerator pump....put it together and still had a leak. Upon further inspection I found that the leak occurred on the return stroke of the pump and leaked up around the rod....as if there was gas getting on top of the diaphragm (I don't think it's supposed to). Tried a different diaphragm and the leak stopped but now the pump isn't squirting from all four carbs...a squirt from #3, a dribble from #1 and almost nothing from 2 and 4 so now I'll take the rack back to work with me tomorrow and blow it out in the shop and see if I can get cleared....

Hey Jeff, during the week I'll be finishing some stuff up on the bike.
Are you around next weekend to meet up somewhere, maybe for lunch?
Should be, been craving an in&out burger but I`m up for whatever.
Tommy burger is good too.

Today was Christmas! For the 1200 - a new stator and rectifier/regulator!!! Now I just need some stuff from Western Honda!

For the 1100 - a "water proof" :smilie_happy: radio cover to go on the Cycle Sound and one of those Cigarette outlet USB charger/Volt meters that Tony showed me.

Brian, are you going to graft that volt meter unit into your Vetter fairing? I've seen some neat looking units like that but I wasn't sure I wanted to cut up my fairing...

Not yet. This one plugs into the cigarette lighter. If I don't like it, I am mounting an Aspencade meter into the hard cover for the right side pocket. I have an extra one or two that I can spare one. I will most likely do it anyway because I cannot leave well enough alone.

Ok, what does this one look like and where do you get it? My lighter plug doesn't work anyway so this would be a great replacement!

Tony stated it isn't exact, but close enough is what I am looking for.
