Thanks! It's actually just a very faded "pearly-beige" Thinking of trying to paint it this winter and was actually considering white.

Just completed the "poor boy" conversion. I have to admit I was a little intimidated, but I gave it a try anyway and what do you know-it works! Worked on it on and off for a couple days. It sure felt good to ride it to work today and see my little volt meter happy again. Thanks for the advice...
