A good lube for cables or other applications would be tri-flow.It has mini-spheres made of teflon in it.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Krylon-Tri-Flow ... 257caf07fb .Was recommended to me by a mechanic long time ago. There should be a webpage with more details about the product.
Have checked and they are.Old cb750k valve check plugs are the same. One is on its way :heat: .Meanwhile i'm waiting on the jb weld to dry so I can check bike on center stand for that sound.
Have check the stator bolt and it was fine.I did tighten it a wee more. Now is the aluminum plug on the stator same as clutch aluminum check plug.Have just stripped the threads  .So here I'm trying to superglue it till I find the replacement.80 & 81 have plugs on the clutches Rigth?
No I haven't ,I'll take a look at her on the center stand tomorrow. It does sound inside the engine to my hearing.I would say it sounds low pitched.Heard it on 3rd riding it.Maybe without traffic noise I'll hear if it does it on others gears. :thanks:
I been hearing a ligth rattling sound while cruising in 3rd gear. Now when I speed the bike a bit it dissapears.I'm thinking that it could be the shifter drum assembly or any of it's components kinda loose.Anybody had this type of sound on their tranny? Thanks for any inputs. :moped:
I have glued bearings on motorcycles before and seem to hold pretty tight.Remember using them on wheel hubs also.the thing is to let the material dry minimun 24hs would be great.they cure when prived of oxygen (air).
