Stuck on side of road. Turn signals stopped working, then just died. Turns over but will not start. Lights on dash work. Found blown 15 amp fuse and replaced it, no go. Fuel in tank. Tried on and res. No plug wrench to see if spark.

I just bought this beauty and am ready to get her on the road. The previous owner was a younger guy who obviously couldn't handle it, and dropped it at low speed. It scratched up the "tank" a little and broke the front right caliper. Before that it sat for a couple of years with the owner...

I am thinking of buying a 1978, but it sat 2 years and now will not start. Other than checking for spark, adding fresh gasoline, and giving the carbs a light beating, any suggestions on what to try first? The bike is in good condition and sounds good turning over.
