I added 2 35 watt lights to my 82 1100i and it. Would support that load but when I installed 2 50 watt lamps the voltage dropped to 12.4 and falling.

You can free up some watts by replacing any incandescent steady lights with LEDs like the brakes and running lamps. If you swap out the turn signals you will need to replace the flasher unit with an electronic one.

So I guess you can estimate that there is about 7 amps available or 90 watts
