One of my first posts was about crap wiring, it was also the reason I decided to clean and take a closer look at the bike I just bought because if the PO did crap wiring I wanted to find all of it.
I am just about ready to put the trunk back on so while looking at the light bar I had fixed wiring on (got rid of the scotch locks,(wire taps), hate those cheesy things) I put bulbs in to test again and noticed that the bayonet bulbs they use for the blinker have cheap sockets so, I changed them to L.E.D. I used four on each side for the blinker.
this is what I started with

I cut the socket off

then I took a piece of sheet and broke it to the shape I wanted, drilled holes in it and silver brazed it to the remaining part of the light base

Got it wired up and it works pretty good now, man I hate cheap made crap....

Thats some pretty nice work there. This is gonna be one sweet bike when its all done.
Thank you, I am close to done finally, I have a couple things I want to fix and paint, I have the stock color, a corner on the trunk and a crack on the top of one of the side bag lids, but I started it last night after being apart the last 6 months so it getting close.
