I cannot seem to find a specific thread on these adjustments and why we need to do them (not that we don't). Any chance some of our carb experts can post the details of these adjustments and WHY we do them? It would be good to have a sticky thread for easy reference for dummies like me! :oops: :wave: :popcorn:
 
It would be great to have a tutorial for each carb (different years/changes) taking them apart and explaining the circuits and the purpose and function of each part, to include the disassembly, assembly and adjustments. Understanding what your trying to do is most of the battle. :Egyptian:
 
I am not the expert you are looking for but the way I understand it the pilot screws adjust mixture for idle and just off idle or throttle response in transition from idle.
