I soldered that red wire on for a better ground. Paul from C5 ignitions assures me all future units will come with a ground wire already in place.
I've also fashioned my own "grommet" from a piece of fuel line and clear hose.
No grommet is in the kit but Paul is working on that also.

Time it as it says in the instructions and torque the center nut!

Something I forgot to mention but realized during the installation is the ignition housing doesn't need to come completely off.
If you leave the bottom left screw in place it will hold the housing in place and still allow the new ignition to go in since this is the only screw without a washer.

Any thing to line it up with / clock it? I see that if it is not clocked right the timing will be off.
Yes, that will come when I install it in the runner.
It needs power to time it before tightening the center nut.

Timing can be set with the use of a simple 9 volt transistor battery. Just hook the red power wire of the ignition to the (+) of the 9 volt battery and the Negative to the (-) of battery, do not use any other wires. Have the engine on TDC and rotate the Optical Encoder in to the direction of engine rotation until the TDC LED lights. Lock it down and your done.

You can do finite adjustments by loosening the hold down bolts and rotating the Ignition itself to light the LED.

The Ignition only draws a few milliamps and peak current is when the LED is turned on.

It's that simple.

So now where does the the white,green,blue, and black wires go?

The plug that snaps onto the coil-What goes in the plug? Red wire gets soldered onto the silver tab-correct?

What do you plug the hole with where the diaphram rod comes out of the casing?

I see that the vacuum diaphragm housing went back in it's place minus the rod. What did you do with the vacuum tube running to the diaphragm, leave it in place or plug it? Just curious.

Sorry Wes, I haven't completed editing the pictures yet but will try to get that done soon.

I am gonna start mine this Sunday-- hopefully to finish it on Sunday.
