After running a bunch of high concentrate ATF and fuel through the fuel filter, I guess it wouldn't hurt to change the fuel filter. It appears Honda wants about $23 for an OEM filter. Has anyone found a suitable filter at a lesser price?

Randaks has a very nice re-usable, BRASS filter type, :good: use them on all my bikes! About $20, or $25 delivered to your door.

I have one of these on my 1100...have had it on there since '08. Also had the same type filter on my Mercedes sneezle for years. Replaceable, and cleanable filter element. Actually comes with 3 new filter elements.

Same one I have.
I like it because it's so easy to see if it's dirty.

Looked at those, after using napa gold's for years, & before deciding on using the stock mount again. Being able to see is a plus, but to small around to clamp in stock bracket's, & heard some of the plastic ones were falling apart. :nea: That's why i went with the aluminum on the outside, viton gaskets, brass filter, & rubber on the outside to bolt up to the stock bracket. :good: Was worried about the napa's falling apart, as well as any plastic filters. :salute:

Where did you find that one? Oops. As soon as I looked at the picture properties, I see Autozone. Too bad the idiots that work at the one closets to me don't know about this one.

They don't keep them in the parts dept....they're out on the pegs, where they keep the hot-rod/custom stuff, like valve covers and such. I did get both of mine at PepBoys. :good:
PepBoys Part # 6932
Autozone Part #: 52125
