Run down(or over) to your local parts house, and pick up a can of 3M Adhesive Remover. Wet a rag down with it, then lay the rag over the decal and let it sit for a minute. Then start rubbing it, keeping the rag wet with the remover. It will get sticky, and you'll have to use a few rags, but it will do the trick. :good:

It won't really harm the paint, nor will it leave any residues that will effect the paint, as long as the parts to be painted are cleaned properly.

Heat & razor blade scraper always worked very well, so never chanced the chemicals, :nea: already had the heat gun & scraper in my assortment of tools. :hihihi:

Heat & razor blade did the trick on one of the bags today. Just need to sand now. Run out of time, had to take bike for a ride on this great warm day.

Nice, that residue will load up sand paper pretty quickly, maybe a wipe down with some paint thinner.

What he said!
