Intermittent neutral light

My neutral light on my 1984 GL1200A blinks. Not all the time and not like a turn signal. Just kind of flickers on and off while sitting at a light or warming up.
I havent started looking into it yet, it doesnt cause any issues with starting or running.
Anyone have any ideas?
I hate elecrtical problems. I suspect a relay somewhere.

neutral switch just makes contact to ground. Switch may have weak connection internally.

Sounds like a loose connection maybe.
Check the 2 wire plug is plugged in tight coming up from the front cover.

Oh wait, aspencade might be a multi conductor plug not sure.
