I'm still trying to get her going again after she sat since 1981-
The good things-
None of the calipers are frozen- the front master cylinder is still between the lines and the rear is a right at the 'low' line but no leaks and the hoses aren't cracked or leaking- the rear brake light switch doesn't work right- it comes on when the pedal is pushed but when you stomp on it ( this is where you really need a brake light) it lights up then goes away- I guess it needs replaced- I've tried adjusting it.
The front forks and rear shocks hold air pressure- there is a little oil leakage on the front right but when I change the oil I'll add a little ATF stop leak.
Got my new tires today- waiting on the timing belts.
The bad things-
Still trying to sort out the plug fouling issue- seems like it gets a little better everytime I run her but until I get the 30- yr old timing belts replaced I'm kind of afraid to run her hard.
And the ugly-
My wife is geting really jealous of my new bike- I love my wife- BUT.....
