Will the bags and racks from a gl1100 bolt onto a gl1000?

I am going to assume you are writing about a set of Honda Interstate bags. It probably won't be a perfect bolt on, but anything is possible. I know that when I installed my Vetter bags on my 1100 that came with a mount for a 1000, I had to make the mount a little shorter for them to mount like Vetter's do. Also, Hondaline bags didn't come out from the factory until the 1100, so makes me think that these were made for 1100 dimensions.

You can get a set of Bates bags..Take a look, I think they are a better looking bag for the 1000 as well there are still plenty of them for sale with all the mounting and chrome trim. I do remember a guy that tried to bolt on the honda line bags and remember he ran into some problems.
