My BMW is not working out. Riding style/position not for me , so its up for sale. In the meantime I bought one of these beasts ! 2006 only 7000 miles :good:

Nice bike...water cooled right? Big plus imo. Even better if the exhaust is running down low and back and not past the legs.

Yes, its water cooled. Very powerful and very heavy too.

Winner! you guessed it and your prize is the Beamer, just kidding k:

2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic. Everything is stock so the first thing to change would be the pipes. Then the ugly turn signals and then maybe the seat. Will have to add a windshield of course but for all this to happen I have to sell the Beamer first.
All this adds up and the wife is giving me that look :help:

The Vulcans are nice bikes. I have a 99 1500. Straight Shot pipes. Great bike but I missed the smoothness and sound of four cylinders. Now my Vulcan is for sale.

having the mighty ST 1300 and the ST 1100 I've got the sport-touring field covered but i think i want a bmw GSA next

Allllllllllrighty then , we won the Beamer Joe ....... first time i ever won a motor cycle ........ :smilie_happy: just kidding , back in the 70's I owned a couple of 500 & 750 3 cyl. 2 stroke Kawasaki's and 2 900 Z1's they was some Bad A$$ bikes back then for sure . i'm sure they still are .... :good:

My new bike is fuel injected. I am wanting to add Vance & Hines pipes. What would I need to do , if anything, after I install them?

it will likely need reprogrammed at the dealer.

If not reprogramed it will be running even leaner than factory. That makes them run hotter.
