Hi,
New member here.
I have a 1991 Interstate and currently have my sons 86 1200 interstate for storage and fixing.
I'm trying to get it running properly for him to ride next spring. He left it sit for two years and it needs some work.
One of the main things is the choke cable or linkage is frozen.
Unfortunately, I don't have the manual yet so in the dark about how to get at the carb end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Tony

Welcome to CGW from south Arkansas. Nice looking rig your sitting on. On the 861200 the choke linkage is on the bottom of the air plenum which the manual states the carb rack has to be partially or totally removed to get to. I know, what a bummer. Hopefully you could lube the cables from the handlebar end and it will break loose.

Welcome to this great forum from Canada's west coast. There is a lot of great knowledge here abouts so don't be afraid to asked questions. Cheers Angela aka fysty-1 :Egyptian: :Egyptian:    :yahoo:
