This may be a request to be lead by the hand and shown where it is already listed here, but in my defence, I DID preform a search here of "MSRP" and "Original Price". Even googled it and did not have any luck.
Does anyone have a listing of the Manufactures Suggested Retail Price for our bikes from when they were new? Even though I was hanging around in the Dealerships every spring back then (still do) I honestly have no idea. Interested in Standards, Interstates then the Top-o-the line Aspencades. 80-83, specifically, but if there is a website like bikez.com that list various makes and models that would be great.

An '82 with 27,800 miles showed up at our local Honda Dealer that is absolutely spotless, and they are asking $3750! Amazed me that they were even interested in that on trade and that they had it valued so high. That got me thinking... what did that sell for new nearly 30 years ago.

I believe I paid $6,200 out the door for my first 82 Aspencade with CB, Intercom and cassette player in 1982.

I think I remember finding such info when I was doing research on 'Wings before I bought mine. Can't remember where it was, but I did print the info out. I can looks when I gets home and see if I still have it. I'm wanting to say I found it on Saunder's site, but I'm just not sure.

I did just find THIS

"New Cost: $5700 (1981) - $5,500 (1982) - $5,502 (1983) "

"Average Used Costs:
Low $2,510 Medium $2,819 High $3,120"

Suggested retail in 80 was $3798 S, $4898 I

81 was $4098 S, $5248 I

82 was $4248 S. $5448 I, $5698 A

83 was $4298 S, $5548 I.$6998 A
