Seat Cover for 83

Looking for a seat cover for my 83 interstate.

This seller lists the 82 and 83 interstate seat as the same. My understanding is that although the pan is the same for both the foam on the passenger section is a different shape (83 passenger is longer with a steeper back slope to accommodate the moved back trunk). Am I correct on this?

Is there a difference between the 83 interstate seat and aspencade seat? The seller list an aspencade cover which might be the right one for the 83 interstate.

The seat is a little longer on the 83, I cant recall the actual length. The picture looks like it is of the 83 longer length one..Maybe his are all the 83 size and the 80-82 fit a little looser, or they split the difference and measure right in between the two making a little stretch for the 83 and a less loose fit for the others. Looking at his feedback there are those unhappy with the fit but on other bikes, not so much the GL. I watched a guy fitting a seat cover and he used a hair drier or maybe it was a heat gun to either stretch a little and form the fit, I guess getting it warm is the key to a good fit.

There are less expensive covers out there, order one you know will fit. I'm on my phone so that site didn't work well, I saw nothing about fitting an 83, and is that seller from Russia? =/

Site list fit for both 82 and 83. I'm not committed to this site if there are better options.

I could be wrong but I seem to recall the 82 being a smidgen longer too, they just went little more in 83`.

I bought a used saddleman for an earlier? 1100 that was on a stock pan but way short in the passenger section. My wife was almost reclining to use the trunk backrest. I did some major surgery to make it work but she still prefers the stock seat (softer). Would now like to get a cover that "fits" for my stock seat. If 82 and 83 where close that might work. The saddleman and my stock 83 where so far off I can't see it working on both but if 82 and 83 where similar then maybe.
