Looking for the drive unit that the cable attaches onto? ... have you looked at the wheel hub portion of the speed system.. there is a 2 ear plate that drives the hub.. I had one that was rotted so bad it wasn't any stronger then tin foil... I would pull wheel and look for it first.. if spinning wheel does not turn the hub drive.. chapter and when I hit mine from the (stealer) dealer had to be ordered.. it fits behind the wheel seal..
Ya that's what mine is doing I put a thin washer behind the gear to raise it enough to grab the drive washer worked good for about 400 miles.
