hy you all. night time leaving a freinds house and its cold about 35 degrees. I hit the starter and it just spins. I let off and as it slows down it engages. hit the starter agian the same. hit it agian it starts the bike. is this cold weather or is there a problem witjh starter. i have a rebuild kit that came with the bike. whatdo you suggest :head bang:

It might be just a combination of the oil and cold. It seems the starter clutch is slipping a bit. This seperate from the action of the starter itself. Welcome aboard!

cool! sure wish it had a kick starter. i ride when its cold. you know ( bundle up)

no sweat. what weight oil should i run for winter? i plan to ride as long as there is no ice.
