The fun has begun!

Started pulling stuff off for the switch, 1200 engine going into the 83- 1100 frame.

Sizing up the manifold fit......

It looks like ABS pipe clamps will solve the wider spacing of the 1200.......

I don't like that there will be a space between the runners and the plenum, I worked hard to fit them right up against each other but I'll run with it and modify later.

The 1200 drive shaft is a lot nicer without that :sensored: circlip!
Yes but going into an 1100 it has to have it.

Got clamps:

Had to make a slight adjustment to the return line fitting, was hitting the stat housing.
Will need to rework that fitting a bit yet.

Gaskets came today. That was fast considering from Poland.
The head gaskets look pretty good quality.
In fact they look like OEM, I would install them.

Back covers are on.
Tomorrow maybe, out with the 1100.

Looks very nice and clean too. Test mule is about to get a real name I think. With the 1100 rear you got the best of both worlds with the 1200 motor. I've got to check my bearings in my 1200 standard.

Can't wait to hear about the road tests and rpm at road speed. Maybe a 1200 in the Rats Nest's future!
Looking good Dan :good:
