Very nice ride, Brian! How'd the Wing perform?

Perfect! Climbing hills with that C5 is amazing!!!!! With the addition of the other ignition curves I could climb hills on the Blue Ridge Parkway in 5th gear and be going as slow at 35 mph and the bike would still accelerate up the hill. My weight plus all this crap, I didn't think it was possible but it just climbing and climbing... I told Paul he turned my bike into a Mountain Goat.

The rider was by far the weakest link, as I am beat beyond tired.

Wait just a dang minute!

The only difference of how I was packed for this trip compared to our trip to Joe's was my sleeping bag was on top of the trunk instead of in the trunk! It seems a .45 in a lock box takes up more room than I expected so the bag had to go on top... I also strapped the full face on just in case I needed to ride in the rain. Rain drops hurt when riding at highway speed.

The wind was blowing up my shirt so it made my XXL shirt look like a XXXL shirt! :smilie_happy:

I worked long and hard for this body, so I don't want to waste it.

I am just curiouse if you left anything at home Brian? :smilie_happy:

The blue bag was my camping gear. The duffle bag was my clothing: I probably took too much as there were items I had that I didn't wear, but that is the Boy Scout coming out!

General travel rule....

Take half as many clothes as you think you'll need and twice as much money. You will be closer to what you REALLY need!

What did I do to my Wing today ?
Hmmmm...I've been ponderin on whether or not to say, but...we're all friends here, right? RIGHT? What happens here stays here, right? :ahem:

Here's what I did.....I laid it over....at the gas station.

Some other idjits were just sittin in MY spot when I rode up, so I had to go around, and back up to the pump. I flipped the side stand down....well...apparently at least part of the way down. Started swingin my leg over, and realized, "Hey....wtf?", by then it was too late.....down she went. And me with a messed up lower back anyway. :sensored: Was able to flop it upright pretty quickly, but sure was pizzed aboot it. Funny how the ONLY times I've ever laid this turd over, it was sittin still.... :smilie_happy: Guess that's better than the alternative....at least this time I wasn't under it. The hiway peg took the brunt of the hit, and it swiveled it up a couple of inches, but no major damage. What a mulrooney, eh?

A couple guys at work have done that with their big (DON"T TOUCH IT!) Harley dressers. If it's any consolation I thought it was funnier than your mishap.

Well... when the bike wants a nap, who are we to deprive it of a nap! Oh, and remember: no pictures, it didn't happen.

Hmmm...I dint take no pikchurs, so I guess it dint really happen, eh? Unless someone ELSE there took a pikchur....my luck, it'll already be on youtube by now.... :Doh2: :smilie_happy:
