When i upgraded my speakers on either the Ventures or my two Gl1500 bikes i used either memory foam or foam speaker cups behind the dash speakers, and the screws get locktite on them, when i crank up the volume it rattles anything loose in the fairings otherwise.

I got the right front brake pads off before pollen chased me back in the house. once I could breath again I went out with the lemon pledge then got the new brake pads installed, i'll have to wait for a dry day to get the new left brake pads installed

Took my 84 out for running some errands, took the long way home beating the rain & wind by about an hour. Wife asked what took so long, answered, got lost on the way home, she says good you figured out where you were & made it home before the storm gets here. :smilie_happy:

I,drove 125 miles.100 in the rain went to a miner ball game in marion.ill with the rolling thunder group 3.i got to ride inside the baseball field with the rolling thunder group.and at home plate redline my bike in front of the whole crowd.there was only 2 rolling thunder guys that rode.i was a tag along and bam.i was in the show...wow what a rush to have people scream,yell for ya to stop at home plate,and make some thunder,and I did. 8 grand of throttle.also went to a couple Harley shops.1st one was free food..i don,t have pictures or video-yet,of the ball field in marion ,ill.but when I do I,ll show you all.p.s they want me to join the rolling thunder group. :moped: :sensored: rain.i have my boots vest,leather each one in front of a fan.. :salute: :music:the last picture is xmas,7 years ago.springer on a kids bike,but look.easyriders was on when I took the picture.. :music:

ok,got the pics..hope to get video,of home plate thunder roll.my bike can be heard in it..i waited in,between the Harleys to rack my 8,500 rpm..wish I had straight pipes..but my heads,and lower end ain,t ready yet.. :music: yes I,m joining rolling thunder june 8 th..the rolling thunder honor guard.. :good:

Replaced the AGM battery on the 1100. Now I wish it had a reverse. Went to gas it up. whilw setting in line for the pump rhe old lady in front of me backed up sudenly. ever tried to back paddle an 1100 with a dead engine. Well now that i am readying it for sale I now have no front fender guard and some missing paint. Not going to fix it, took the broken fender guard off and will discount for front fender paint job. going to have to get rid of it soon the way things are going . :shock: :shock: :shock:

Installed a chrome headlight bezel. I always thought the headlight area looked unfinished on these early wings, they should have came stock on them. $15 bucks well spent.

I managed to get the windshield, mirrors, false tank and seat on it before company arrived for my wife's birthday. Then, I ACTUALLY RODE IT!!! ...just a short ride around the neighborhood...all seems well. First time on the road since last fall... Much more to do but it's rideable!
