Flap on the front fender can save a rear tire from a nail or something the front tire hits first then doesn't get tossed out of the way or dropped in time for it to lay flat before the rear hits it. Otherwise, mud flaps? heh yuk. Nice tip on the electrical. I assume this is also true for a 83...
