    GL 1100 water pump bearings check

    I just got this pump from dccycles off ebay, it was a used metal impeller, advertised as "no play in bearings" while thats technically true, the bearings do not roll smooth, are they supposed to? If I need to rebuild it its not that big of a deal I guess. I just wanted to check in with you guys...

    fuel pump

    ok my seach skills suck. so Ill ask out right..can the fuel pump be rebuilt? randak got the stuf or???? I was gonna get the rust and junk out but the diaphram is not soft and pliable, not crispy but old none the less. I cant even see how to get the diapram out

    changing timing belts

    As usuall I started to work...then came in to read. so the thing I just read says turn the engine with the plugs out hmm. I turned the engine with the plugs in. I dont see how thats bad seeing as how ALL electrics are removed for the big cean up...Am I wrong? is it just so the engine cant fire...
