If you are willing to pull them again, in case they still leak through, :whistling: there's a good chance a cleaning, & a little sealant on float bowel gaskets,(o rings) & you might be in luck!

Very Simple fix.....Linkage on carb and shafts were sticking, good cleaning, and some ATF in tank......and then ran it Hard. My sweetie just takes her time, and stays at real low RPMs. Ol' Yeller just needed a Good Lick'n,,,,,,,,runs fine now.

True enough about most sealants, :good: but air craft sealant will do fine with gas. I agree, & NEVER use it, :nea: but many others do. I'm too lazy to pull it off again, so try do it up right the first time. :salute: Thought he wanted to make what he has work for him, at the least amount of cash from his pocket. :whistling:

 Glad to know it was an easy fix.

My single carb has been so good,,,,,Santa gave her a TomTom. Gett'n ready for Spring. Merry Christmas

Tired of winter,,,,starting project to make "82" Ol' Yeller a single. Kinda new manifold design uses schedule 40, with out using flex pvc. Worked out really good, simpler, and stronger. Welded up lids for enclosure so it will only have one big lid. Will give more room for storage on top of air filter. A little more welding, a little Bondo, and the brightest Yellow I can find..... I am having fun messing up my wife's Bike. Oh I forgot, I am waiting for my $89 VW34-3 Pict carb to get here.

Ohh nice! What fitting is used for the plenum? Is that a 5 way furniture fitting? Or did you build it from several fittings?

Side outlet cross, or a 5 way fitting. I don't care what u call it, as long as it works.
