Nothing but waiting patiently for belts, new tensioners, Tyrebeads(cheaper than Dynabeads), all metal 90 degree tire stems and to order steering head bearings and tires.

~O~
Expensive couple months.

I RODE mine today, for the first time since November! :yahoo: :yahoo:
Well....kinda sort rode. Got stuck in a 15-20 mile long traffic jam, due to an accident near downtown Dallas, so I basically did the duck-walk for 15 miles....an hour late getting to werk. The rest of the 40 mile run was happy time, tho. Weather is clear, temps in the mid 40s this mernin, and 'posed to be low 70s this afternoon....just couldn't resist...had to ride! :good:

Got bored and tired of sitting in the house, (Dr's orders) so I got out in this beautiful 74 degree sunshiny day and removed the fairing, lowers and the faux tank off one on my 85 Interstates. I could not believe the difference in weight between the loaded down Aspencade fairing and the Interstate fairing.

Waited for parts to arrive...

~O~

That sucks... at least I have 1/2 a foot of snow on the ground to prevent me from riding.

I ran some errands then I put new padding into my mom's old helmet.

Went for a ride in the morning on a beautiful clear summers day and left my ride home a little late

Unfortunately the wife rang me to see what the weather was like at home as she had a washing line full of clothes. With the dashcam app it stops recording when you get a call so there isn't any video of me riding up the dreaded driveway which was more like a river. The front end almost skated out from under me at the bottom of the driveway, I Freddy Flintstoned ( both feet on the ground) as I used the Rats Nest's incredible torque and excellent traction of the new Shinko A230 to get me up to the house. Normally I would drag the rear brake as a form of traction control but I wasn't game enough to put my feet on the pegs until I was half way up the hill.

Unfortunately the auto focus isn't very good because of my dirty windshield but here is a recording going down the DD 2 1/2 hours later
