Rode the Rats Nest yesterday up to Northgate then Brendale. Today I rode Val up to a new cafe at Wellington Point with my mate Pete and his mate Paul. It looked like rain this morning but it ended up being a great day. :good:

On saturday i rode the oldwing 50 miles round trip. Was keeping the pase with no sweat with harleys and victories 1800's. It was an open run with a loca biker club. At moments I felt that the wing was in need for higher rpm's. I was very happy with my wing performance. :music: :music:
Then on Saturday night I installed a head light bucket off of a 1978 cb750 that fitted like a glove. :clapping:

Went on a group ride today after a motorcycle meet this morning. We started with about 30 bikes, and by the time we finished for dinner we were down to about 13.

Went for a quick ride to the shops on the new rear Shinko 230 on the Rats Nest. Pleasantly surprised to have the fan switch start working again after stopping in the Back Hills SD Aug 2013. :good:

:Egyptian: Pulled the rear wheel off the interstate last night. Taking it and my new Shinko tire to a friends to get it mounted. Hope to go for a ride later today.

In preparation for rebuilding a salvaged 1800, my friend has been keeping an eye on Craigslist. Last night he found a listing for misc 1800 parts $50 takes everything. Here's a few pictures of our haul. I think we did all right for the price...
