    Starting problem

That's exactly what got me to thinking .... again ... finally. LOL Guess I'll have to reset the float on #4 that's the one loaded up although some came out of #2. It's been sitting for a month or so on the kick stand so leaning that way didn't help either.

    Starting problem

LOL I was getting ready to make something out of nothing. I noticed I left the thing sitting with the fuel on for about a month. Pulled the plugs and # 4 puked out about a cup O fuel as soon as I hit the starter. Oh well, stupid is as stupid does. Thanks for the reply anyway.

    Starting problem

FWIW .. the solenoid has a solid click but the starter does not engage but rather there's a slight spin sound at the starter as though it get power on release of the start button.

    Starting problem

Been a while since I posted but been busy and nothing going on at least until now. For the last few weeks the starter on my 1100 acted as though it was dragging or the battery weak. I put a new battery in because the one in there is quite old. This did not see to have much effect on the...

83 cast spoke wheels on 81 Interstate ?

This should be interesting. The Comstar wheels have been known to develop cracks in them where the spoke connects to the rim. I have an 81 with those wheels and they look fine at this point. I figure if these have lasted 32 years and 100,000 miles I may be home free from this particular failure.

    Get out and VOTE.

There are 2200 Federal Programs,18000 State Programs and Innumerable County and City programs that provide FREE MONEY from government. Government grants and subsidies are becoming the norm in addition to other "entitlements". The problem is that for every non-producer who receives money from...

vote early and in some cases vote often. Really glad when it's over so my mailbox and answering machine can get a rest. Have to admit I will miss the Circus my friends on facebook have joined. LOL Like going to a dog fight everyday with delusional supporters on both sides. Make no...

Hard to handle when moving around by hand

Left my 1100 running at idle with the choke set to about 2,000 RPM about two weeks ago. Driveway has slight incline and the garage door wouldn't close. Went back in to close the door manually and hear a scraping sound. The bike was sliding backwards sliding the kickstand. I ran towards it...

mongruel getting a 86 1200 engine added to the bloodline

If I find a donor chassis on the cheap I'm gonna have to throw an old engine in one. They are still kinda new so might be a while. Goofy looking little car but can you imagine the look on a 'vette owners face when he gets dusted off the light by one of these?

A simple request. (Be warned, it could be scary.)

Joe, 747-400. I usually tell folks I drive an 18 wheeler, which is true if you count all the landing gear. eliminates lots of the same questions. Retired now so the next best thing is my bikes and shooting pool at the VFW. :)
