PVC wiper adaptors? I'm not familiar with this.
Can you elaborate?
without a spacer the wiper would be sunk down about a 1/2 inch(into the brace) and looks kinda weird, I cut some PVC pipe to raise the wiper level with the top of the brace..so instead of the wiper fitting into the top of the fork leg it is fitting into a 1/2 inch tall 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe, the only thing I don't know yet is if the PVC will stay put, it is a tight fit but thats all that is holding it in, I can glue it is it moved out.
Not sure that makes sense, easier to see then explain.

The fork tube dust seals/wipers is what you spaced up so that they are now level with the brace, is that right Jeff?

Yea , thats it..I have a pic someplace with them sunk down, just didn't look right, only took 6 months to complete

Went for a ride Saturday, gorgeous day! Ran a little low on fuel and I think I sucked something into my filter because Sunday on my way home from church after I filled up I didn't quite make it home went she started acting like she was fuel starved and quit running, I had to call my brother in law to come rescue my daughter and myself. [emoji27] Just what I need, more to do on the bike! [emoji35]

Rode it home in rain again. Is there a wet but riders club out there?
good thing you're not an iron butt rider or your butt would rust

I have been quite busy for the last few days getting a new garage door secured, but in-between I have got a lot further on stripping the old girl, Got the rear wheel off and final drive, cant get the shocks off, they seem to be seized on the inside of the rubber bush, it ain't moving so looks like I will have to burn them out. Now I need to get the swinging arm out and I am a bit unsure where to go from here. In my Haynes manual I can't find any reference to the size of the thin nuts on the swinging arm. I got the gas tank out, could;d not believe that there is still liquid gas in there, I make the assumption it is gas, the bike was in my garage in Holland for 15 years, so dry. but it doesn't actually smell like gas, well not as potent then. Going to pour it out in the morning and test it's fire making properties, I think it will put the match out. So once she is stripped of all the stuff attached to the frame, front as well as back, the engine will be coming out and also being gingerly striped. More later.

I didn't do this to my wing today but I'm playing with the idea of painting the fairing lowers and panel behind the front wheel this silver color. I've always liked the color scheme on this model. If someone could photoshop a pic of a 93 in Cambridge blue with these 3 panels silver for me it could help me decide. I would have the panels professionally painted or wrapped.

I like a two toned paint scheme unless it is all black.
I'm with Henry Ford on color of vehicles. He said customers can choose whatever color they want so long as it's black.

I got a chance to play with my 1200 wing yesterday and as reported before I put a poorboy kit on it last year. well it seems that the belt is the right belt but there is no adjustment to the alternator to put tension on the belt
