1965 Opel Kadett. Took 2 days to get thru an intersection from a stop. On the highway going downhill could get to about 65, but would be doing about 35 when you got to the top of the next hill. Biggest hunk of junk you ever saw.

Lubbock is a crazy place to drive, but about an hour and a half north of there is Palo Duro Canyon. That is a beautiful place to go. I live 105 miles west of there and my parents live in Lubbock. We go over there for our box store shopping cuz there ain't crap around here any closer. Big town...

Couldn't get my fat fingers in to get the bolts out without removing the swing arm. Now I just have to remember how it all goes back together. Working on Navy aircraft was so much easier than trying to get this bike back in running shape, but I should be there soon! :beg:
