    winter time

I take out the filter and start dumping Seafoam down it's throat untill i drownd it out, and that's with reving it up to try and keep it running. Then I dump the rest, at least half a can, into the tank and make sure I top it off. I have to make sure I have it outside when I start it inthe...

    pilot scew

No need to do the Dremel or anything like that. If you don't have one go to Radio Shack or WalMart and 15 - 20 bucks or cheaper gets you a soldering iron. If the caps are put on with the proper adhesive you have to heat the caps up to 250 degrees and they come right off. Put the heat to them...

    Coolant Type

I had to replace a head on my 81 last summer at the same time I replaced the old ladies radiator in her Jeep. When I refilled it I had some G-05 fluid left from the Jeep so I used it. I figured Jeep engine is all aluminum so why not. I did a good flush and used distilled water. I think it...

What did you do to your Wing today ?

Same thing I've been doing the last 3 weeks. Ride to work in the morning and ride home. When it's nice I take the long way home.

    90 degree screwdriver

Here's another question for those that also have 1500's. Do you have a need for a 90 degree screwdriver on the 1500? My dream is to get one so if you do need one then maybe I will go for more expensive that will last longer and work better. But then I don't ever see me getting rid of the 1100...

    90 degree screwdriver

As I'm going to buying one soon I wanted to have everyone put their input in and give recommendations or not on any of the numerous carb adjusting 90 degree screwdrivers available. I've been thinking of one of the following unless someone can recommend another...

    Shifting without clutch?

Sorry to raise the hackles there. I'll keep my coffee drinking in the closet. Been riding since 1980 and 100's of thousands of miles in the seat. I don't condone anyone to do the things I do as I wont follow someone else unless I know I'm capable. It was also meant to be tounge in cheek...

    Shifting without clutch?

There's certain stretches where I can see plenty far ahead and I know there are no side roads for surprises to come out. Just sayin shifting with or without the clutch will come as second nature if you get used to it. Even if your hands are tied up. And I can only keep one hand on the coffee...

    Shifting without clutch?

In the morning on the way to work I'm usually shifting up and down all the time because I usually have my coffee in my hand. Once your used to it it is second nature. I don't even think about it whether I'm using the clutch or not.

    Stupid tire changing questions...

I used Amour All on mine. Made it slick but then worked in and eventually dissapeared. Heath

Gremlin Bell Exchange. Join in on the Camaraderie!

I had a cow bell mounted up under my Ramcharger. City Folk would hear it and had no idea what it was. I'd tell them it's a cow bell when they asked, then they'd ask why do cows have bells. I'd just smile and let them ponder it.
